2019 MSSSC I
We return all glory to the Most High God Who made it a huge success for the 2019 Annual Mega Secondary Schools Convention held on Saturday 2nd November 2019 at the Gymnasium Hall, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu.
Attended by 51 secondary schools from Public, Private and Missions schools within and outside Enugu metropolis, they numbered close to 7,000 students. The hall was filled to the brim and the tent placed was overflowed.
As usual, we hired about 40 (forty) 608 buses with other smaller ones which conveyed the students from their schools and back after the event.
With prayers and music, the programme kicked off in earnest as buses bring in students in their hundreds while the anchors, Uche Agbaeze and Princess Ojiyi (staff of Solid Fm) ensured that everything went smoothly.
Barr. Mrs. Joy Ogbonnaya, the International President of the Pleasant Gathering, welcomed the schools, students and their teachers that accompanied them. Her message on the Role of the Nigerian Student in National Transformation was timely. She took the students on various societal and heavenly demands necessary for a building a life and society of our expectation. The students responded in their thousands during the altar call surrendering their lives to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
Then, presentations of music, talk shows, playlet etc from schools took off with Academic and Bible competitions.
