43RD BIENNIAL NATIONAL WOMEN FELLOWSHIP CONFERENCE
Any woman can have a child but not every woman can be a mother. Motherhood is a special calling’. Those were among such words that flowed from Barr. Mrs. Joy Ogbonnaya, the International President of the Pleasant Gathering who was a Guest Speaker at the 43rd Biennial National Women Fellowship Conference and the 87th Annual Conference of the Methodist Church of Nigeria held at the Hoares Memorial Cathedral, Yaba, Lagos with the theme: Obedience to God’s Word: Blessing to All.
It was a conference of conferences with so many life-building highlights. Participants came from many parts of Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Liberia, Cotonu etc. Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Claudia Ibitoye Sanwo-olu, First Lady and wife of the Lagos State Governor, was also present at the conference.
While speaking at the great event last Friday 2nd August, 2019 on the topic: THE ROLE OF MOTHERS IN RESCUING THE NEXT GENERATION, Barr. Joy said that the call to motherhood is a call to generate light and to supply enough voltage to the next generation. There’s a special role every woman should play in evangelizing the next generation in this season. Mothers are indebted to the generation and the time to pay the debt is now as we’re already running out of time.
