2018 APRIL MONTHLY MEETING
IT WAS A SUCCESS!!!
We return all the glory to the Almighty God for a successful April Monthly Meeting held yesterday at the Sunshine Guest House Enugu.
The participants turned in from all directions of the city highly expectant of the powerful and the miraculous. As always, the atmosphere was highly inundated by the glory of God as the intercessory prayers, praise and deep worship sessions were had.
The testimony session also recorded a woman with 6 children who is under the PLEASANT GATHERING REHABILITATION PROJECT, having been rescued as a commercial sex worker. Her testimony yesterday was that THE GOD OF PLEASANT GATHERING DELIVERED HER FROM A GHASTLY MOTOR ACCIDENT WHERE ALL 18 PEOPLE IN A BUS DIED, EXCEPT HER. Her whole family, friends and well wishers joined her in thanksgiving. FRIEND, OUR GOD IS ALIVE!
In the spirit of gratitude, the International President, Barr. (Mrs.) Joy Ogbonnaya with the house of Pleasant Gathering also thanked the Lord for, and dedicated, a new SONY DSC-H300 CAMERA and Tripod Stand donated by a ‘good Samaritan’, and prays for more of such kind gestures from people like you seeing the work is great.
Furthermore, the Lord powerfully used the guest speaker, Dr. Jeff Okorie (A medical practitioner with the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, Parklane and also the Chairman of the Pleasant Gathering Medical Board) who spoke on the necessity to return to the Lord from wherever we might have strayed. Drawing his text from Hosea 6:1-3, he highlighted the fact that so many youths and adults have been wounded, bruised and scattered emotionally, spiritually and otherwise. He charged the participants to seek the Lord who alone can heal and deliver. Furthermore, he enjoined the audience to wholly identify with the divine business of soul-winning which is actually the heartbeat of God. It was a very spectacular meeting that before he could draw the curtain, the Spirit of God had already taken over the people and everywhere was literally set ablaze culminating in the Altar Call. It was just glorious.
Finally, April birthday celebrants were celebrated. And everyone went agog with jubilation. O, it was an experience never to be forgotten! IT CAN ONLY BE GOD! Click here to watch some of the photos we took!
